Privacy Policy

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to send us, and limited technical data needed to run and protect the site.

• Patient feedback. If you use Give feedback, we store your name, star rating, and written comments. You may also be asked for an email address and whether we may publish the review.
• Appointments and contact. Booking and location pages use phone and email links. If you call or email, that conversation is with the practice, not stored as a website form submission.
• Google reviews. Public reviews for Dr. Viplav Shetty are loaded from Google and shown on the site. Those reviews are created and controlled on Google’s side.
• Technical data. When you submit feedback, we may briefly use your IP address to limit spam (a small number of posts per hour). We do not use that for advertising.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Display approved website feedback on the Patient Feedback section
• Show Google rating and review summaries
• Respond if you contact the practice by phone or email
• Keep the site reliable and reduce automated abuse

We do not sell your information or use it for third-party advertising.

Storage

Website feedback is stored on the servers that host this site (as practice records for this website, currently a file on the hosting environment). Hosting, backups, and domain services may process that data as needed to keep the site online.

Google review text and reviewer names or photos come from Google and are cached so the page can load. Maps on the Contact section are embedded from Google Maps.

Retention

Published website feedback is kept while it remains on the site, unless you ask us to remove it or we take it down. The site keeps a limited number of website reviews (up to 200). IP-based rate-limit data is held in memory for about one hour and is not written as a lasting visitor profile.

Google reviews remain available according to your Google account and Google’s policies. Removing a Google review must be done through Google; we can stop showing website-submitted feedback on request.

Sharing

We share information only when needed to operate the site or the practice:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run this website
• Google, if you follow a link to write or view a review on Google Maps, or when the site loads Maps and Places content
• The practice team, if you email or call using the published contact details
• If required by law or to protect the practice and patients

Approved website reviews are public on this site. Do not include medical record numbers, test results, or other sensitive clinical detail in a public comment.

Cookies

Ordinary visitors do not receive advertising or analytics cookies from this website. The site does not run a third-party ad network.

An HTTP-only session cookie is set only if someone signs in to the private reviews admin area. That cookie lasts up to seven days, is not used to track public visitors, and is cleared on sign-out.

Embedded Google Maps and Google review links may set cookies or similar technologies under Google’s own privacy policy when those embeds or pages load.

Your requests

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete website feedback submitted in your name, or to stop showing it. To do that, email drviplavshetty@gmail.com or call 9449869399. Please say that the request is about website privacy so we can find the right record. We may need enough detail to confirm it is your submission.

For Google reviews, photos, or Maps data, use the controls in your Google account. We cannot edit Google’s copy of a review from this website.
